The inaugural event of the Institute on Municipal Finance and Governance was held on February 21, 2005 in the Vivian and David Campbell Conference Facility at the Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto. The topic was "Easing the Fiscal Restraints: New Revenue Tools in the City of Toronto Act."
