The Next Urban Economy: Can Toronto be a Global Leader?

Following the banking and economic crisis, cities are being encouraged to adopt new strategies that embrace green economies, emerging markets, new technologies, and the modernization of export industries. ‘The Next Urban Economy’ is the term applied by the Brookings Institution to these new urban strategies.
