The Economic Benefits of Smart Growth

Presented on May 12, 2005 (featuring keynote speaker Bruce Katz) in the Vivian and David Campbell Conference Facility at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto.

Bruce Katz is Vice President and founding director of the Metropolitan Policy Program at the Brookings Institution, one of the oldest and best known U.S. think tanks based in Washington, D.C. The Metro Program publishes cutting edge research on major demographic, market, development and governance trends facing urban areas in both the U.S. and overseas and promotes innovative solutions to help communities grow in more inclusive, competitive, and sustainable ways. Mr. Katz holds The Adeline M. and Alfred I. Johnson Chair in Urban and Metropolitan Policy.
